The main character finds himself in various situations, which is very interesting to watch. Unfortunately, it serves no real purpose to the narrative. It just highlights the absurdity of his life and makes it evident that some change is needed. Great performances! So-so film!

It starts well, and the film's low budget and some nuanced performances draw you straight into the characters and story. But you really deserve a better denoument after investing an hour and a half of your life to see it.

Lafe F (ag) wrote: They missed many important horror films in this collection; and included many which I do not consider horror. I got tired of seeing scenes from "The Marathon Man". They had the second Friday the 13th film, but none of the others. A poor collection. Obviously they couldn't get the rights to all the greats. It's hard getting scared just by looking at clips; terror needs to be built effectively, by immersing the audience in a situation; and a clip-fest just isn't the way to achieve it. The Nancy Allen and Donald Pleasence segments were a bit goofy. I remember trying to see this at the theatre, and us not being allowed in because we were only 16. When I watched it on video soon enough, it was nothing special.
