Bill R (ru) wrote: a movie that had promiae but ended up being long, alow and predictable. could of also had a different feel for it, almost had a made-for-TV feel and was taling itself way too serious. watch if you like but not a recommendation.

Jeff B (au) wrote: A wonderful blend of comedy, drama, music, and love. Nora Arnezeder truly deserved her French film awards, she was utterly adorable.

Cory R (us) wrote: A bit amateur-ish. You could tell Coyne thought it was really funny to litter a bunch of F-bombs throughout the film with the intent of gaining some Tarantino/P.T. Anderson-like cred. It just doesn't play that well. But that's the danger of casting all of your buddies and relatives from Oklahoma.Anyways, I have to give major props to Coyne for putting as much Vag in the film as he did. I mean, what would a pretentious art film be without a few yonic symbols? Just a regular art film. Coyne hits a home run on this. I also loved the thrifty set design--courtesy of Home Depot.

Jason D (ca) wrote: Moderately amusing film about a young man (the awesome Brad Dourif) being the son of parents who were testing in atomic weapons experiments which results in his ability to control fire and electricity, which also leads to terrible affects to his mind and body. Kind of a boring film, but has its moments. This is really different for Hooper, especially with the anticlimactic ending.

Annelies S (jp) wrote: Honestly, I've been to the movies often here in Sweden and I never heard those Swedes laugh so hard before. And I laughed along with them because this comedy is actually great. It is absurd and makes me think of a Swedish Monty Python movie. Never saw a biography being told in such a ridiculous way either. And even if the movie is Swedish you actually don't have to read subtitles. The spoken language is ridiculously absurd as well. Spanish, English, German, French, you name it, you will understand it. The only real Swedish is spoken by the narrator and even that text is funny. Brilliant comedian Gsta Ekman & a bunch of other Swedish actors doing a good job. Rent it.

Ilsa L (es) wrote: A thoroughly enjoyable story full of twists and turns with our favourite ham, Vincent Price providing the comic relief.
