Luca V (gb) wrote: This storyline had the potential to be a hit, however all this potential glory was butchered when the worst actors and actresses alive on this planet were shoved into the movie along with the most cheesy and clichd script ever written. Since when do high schoolers look like they are in their mid to late 20s??

Brandon S (nl) wrote: Sydney Pollack's Out of Africa is a well made film filled with strong performances and great cinematography, but it doesn't keep the viewer in any suspense. From the opening scene of an elderly bitter Streep you know that she is going to have to go through the typical Hollywood treatment of heartbreak. With all the positives the film has and it's exotic location, it still just doesn't take me in to really invest in any of the characters even after almost the three hour length.
Bradley W (gb) wrote: I'll save you some time. This is perhaps the most boring movie I have ever seen, and the plot is pointless. An alcoholic has an affair with his boss' wife, gets her pregnant, and end up with another girl. The end. That's it. Nothing gets resolved. Boring
