Private U (gb) wrote: It starts off effective and funny, as Victor pretends to be an intruder stealing body parts from Elizabeth, who here works in a human biology lab, but it quickly degenerates into run-of-the-mill French sex farce. At least it was never dubbed. Sometimes it feels very '80s. Elizabeth falls for Frank despite his rape attempt on her.A little bit of humor comes from Elizabeth being better able to make a person than Vctor, but little but cheap laughs are gleaned from the fact that victor has programmed her to act like a floozy, which doesn't stop Elizabeth from thinking she did a better job with Adelaide than he did with Frank. The ending is extremely '80s. Not recommended at all, but it has its moments.
Chris E (jp) wrote: This has got to be one of the strangest filming exercises in cinema history. It's certainly tries to be original with its casting decisions along with attempting to seem audacious in the way the story is carried out. Unfortunately, the direction by Stanley Donen (Singin' in the Rain; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers) leaves something to be desired. He appears to be lost in how this story is supposed to be told due to bad editing, unfortunate overdubbing, and a decidedly lackluster presentation...which is a shame considering some of the sets that were used. Still, it's a rather curious endeavor and recommended to those who are sci-fi junkies and love just about anything with Keitel. I personally love his early work. With that being said.....you have been warned.

The storyline for this picture is pretty straight forward with interesting characters and situations and worthwhile car chase scenes. The acting is just okay and the cast includes Ron Howard, Nancy Morgan, Elizabeth Rogers, Clint Howard, and Rance Howard. "I will not tolerate police harassment."I watched this movie on Netflix recently and was always excited to see these old Ron Howard pictures (huge fan of the 70s car films). This was just okay, fairly average to be honest, and a definite step down from Death Race 2000, Two-Lane Blacktop, or Dirty Mary Crazy Larry. This is worth viewing once if you're a fan of the genre but is not a classic within the genre."Don't get your bowls in an uproar."Grade: C+
Carlo T (au) wrote: I saw just 20 minutes of this movie on TV, on May 3,2010. I think it's absolutely terrible. The script, acting, music and, not least, directing are unwillingly funny, for a while; then you ask yourselves how comes that there is somebody (other than the director and producers) who said that this movie could belong to the best spaghetti western tradition. Unbelievable, even as a parody.
