Jack W (de) wrote: Funny yes. Good story/point to the film? No

Patrick W (us) wrote: Most of the film's main story is over about 2/3 through the film and the rest is Nicolas Cage out for vigilante justice. While the premise of the movie is extremely intense, these kind of films are actually made in the world and it is interesting to see this underworld being explored. The film itself, however, is probably one that you shouldn't be upset if you missed.

Mike L (kr) wrote: As good as the first, and actually the acting and action were both better in this one than the first. A good continuation.

Dave H (ca) wrote: Camp classic that surely belongs better in my memories than on any type of screen.

Jason C (de) wrote: Unquestionably the best Japanese lesbian S&M nunsploitation movie you will ever see. Worth watching for "The 13th Punishment" scene alone.

Zoran S (ca) wrote: It's well shot and full of excellent performances. However, as a film about racism and slavery it's often confused and dated even though it's clearly trying. Too much of its power derives from outmoded ideas and representations.

Grayson W (ca) wrote: Kind of fun, but ultimately cheesy teen horror movie with strong 90s vibe.

Frances H (us) wrote: Very charming, enjoyable movie, with Helen Mirren delivering her usual wonderful performance. There is nothing wrong with feel-good flicks, despite what the critics say. After all, they frequently love movies nobody else liked or of which nobody else ever heard that are invariably depressing as hell.
