In his movie debut, Shinchan (Shinnosuke) wins in a lottery where he gets a chance to visit the Buri Buri Kingdom, in the Buriburi Island, which was in the Indian Peninsula (However please make a note that this island is not there and it is only a fake one) below Sri Lanka. But the real motive was to get the Power from the buri buri Kingdom. In their religion, it is said that when there are two people who are like twins, they can get the wealth which is hidden in the Buri Buri Kingdom. The movie starts when one boy named Sunchan (Sunnokeshi) gets kidnapped by some Buri Buri men. And so this movie was very similar in that, meaning that this people really went on a journey that altered their life's, and that is shown on screen. Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce were excellent in this film, they had an incredible connection, and even in the earlier scenes, you could feel and see the tension between them. Also the story was a very unconventional romance that although in plain sight might seem as incorrect, but the characters and their stories are more complicated than generic, and so yo can understand from a different point of view. And although there were come cliches some not very likable characters, it was still a very good drama. ~August 17, 2015~

I would give it a 7 our of 10, but on a 5-star scale it deserves a 3-star rating. The cinematography and the effects are superb, with the former standing up well over time,k while the latter represent what must have been utterly shocking and even a bit overwhelming for the era of cinema in which they first appeared. The scenario is solid enough to be re-made, and if the visual style can be translated to modern color photography, then a very solid horror film could be made. Just sayin": someone should re-work this and make a small fortune doing it.
