(gb) wrote: if you like ghost rape. then this is your kind of movie. not awful but not original. found footage asylum/hospital film. Grave Encounters on a lower budget... which is sad

(au) wrote: Great realistic approach. Solid mix of action and drama. Not something I would watch over and over though. Once is enough for a lifetime. Its because I've seen this story done a lot. It lacks entertainment but makes up for it in realism.

(br) wrote: What a simple, yet powerfully human film. This movie isn't big or grand in what has come the normal perception of film. However, the acting and the emotion that it generates are tremendous. Bruce Dern is truly amazing in this film, as he portrays a stubborn and mentally fading old man. The performance is damn near perfection. The rest of the cast is great as well, portraying family members or friends, each with their odd quirks or motivations, and it all comes together rather well. I liked the cinematography and the settings of the film as well. Set and filmed in rural locations, it has a different and realistic feel to it. The locations used are so great at setting a tone and ambiance for this film. This movie is one great piece of work.
