Crooks in Cloisters

Crooks in Cloisters

Having pulled off the smallest ever train robbery, Little Walter and his crew decide to get out of London. The six of them set up business in a disused monastery off the Cornish coast, despite the fact that none of them really qualifies as a monk - least of all Walter's moll Bikini. Not that it matters, I enjoyed the original trilogy... well, the first and third movies the most, so perhaps Richard Rich has kept his trademark Swan Princess touch and charm after a fifteen-year hiatus from these movies? I'm surprised that they even made a Christmas special based on the Swan Princess series. Well, who knows, maybe it'll be decent, but I think I'll wait awhile before I watch it.

Carolyn G (mx) wrote: Much as I loved Jon Cryer and punk rawk in the 80's, this movie was a turd.

Carlos I (us) wrote: Pretty rad take on the coming of age story. It's funny how they treat "the curse" literally here. Great ending too. Another proud Canadian film.

Christopher B (ru) wrote: Cute little flick. Nice to see Audrey trying so hard to "be bad", with O'Toole as a mentor no less.

Jesse W (fr) wrote: This film makes the series's running formula very obvious: go here, fight zombies, go there, fight zombies, go in a building, fight zombies, leave a building, fight zombies, wait a little bit, fight zombies. Also, and this could just be me nitpicking, but I find the aesthetics very displeasing, as my mouth dries out completely just by looking at it.
