Letitia L (jp) wrote: I feel like this is gonna be another Tampopo. Which means, make sure you're fully fed and surrounded by good food before you pop the DVD in.

Cody C (es) wrote: Dull and flat and boring. Literally put me to sleep.

Jacob S (ca) wrote: Honestly I found it very hard to stay awake during this maybe it's because I didn't get enough sleep or maybe it just wasn't that entertaining. The only thing that managed to keep the movie going was the funny one liners and one or two good performances. The rest of the cast though was pretty bland or maybe it's because the characters just weren't that interesting to me with the exception of one or two. The story was ok but nothing truly great. The script was ok thanks to the funny one liners. I wish I could understand what the hell some of the characters were saying because of their Irish accents. I have nothing against Irish people it's just that sometimes they're accents are so heavy that it's hard to understand what they're saying. Honestly I don't really recommend this movie to anyone. The performances were a bit weak(Like I said with the exception of one or two), the characters aren't really that interesting and i didn't really care about them either, and the story is nothing great 1.5/4 stars.

Stephen W (es) wrote: A friend posted the trailer to this film, and I thought the trailer was very funny. The movie, however, affected me in a completely different way. This is the first movie I have ever seen that addressed my personal struggles as a musician and as an artist so directly. So for me, it wasn't funny-funny, it was "life-sucks-and-then-you-die" funny.

Michael A (ru) wrote: This was the worst film I've seen this year. It's seriously bad. A serious waste of two hours that I'll never get back. It is by far the worst Coen brothers movie I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them (I usually enjoy them too). Characters aren't funny, just unlikable. The plot isn't interesting, just painful. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I'm serious. I'm a serious man.

Noname (de) wrote: Not quite one of Brendans Fraser's better movies but still a decent one for sure. It's a perfect adventure/fantasy flick for the whole family with a pretty good story. And there are a few other other famous actors aswell like Helen Mirron and Andy Serkis (Gollum). If u like movies in this genre you will probably enjoy this one aswell. A typical Brendan Fraser movie i would say.

Alex A (fr) wrote: An all around very well made film, in terms of cinematography, gritty realism mixed with humor, and especially in terms of conviction-filled performances.

Mark H (ag) wrote: pretty haunting silences in this movie. recommend watchin it at hours before dawn.

bill s (mx) wrote: As just a pure popcorn fun ride movie that's better than the first but just as empty character development wise.

Connor C (es) wrote: This movie was pretty good. Being a cutter myself, I can really relate to the emotions, arguments, and pain felt in this movie. I don't really agree with one statement that was said by the principle toward the beginning of the movie. She said, "Cutting is like the new anorexia." This is not true at all. But other than that, it was a good movie. It would work well as a precursor to telling/explaining to someone else if you cut. It's pretty graphic. I would't recommend this for children.

Justin B (us) wrote: Clever enough but loose-knit sports satire with snippets of good ideas an underwhelming final product.

Jeremy B (jp) wrote: Another classic Euro-gangster flick from the 60s starring Alain Delon. And, of course, yet another terrific score from the master Ennio Morricone too. This film is terrific fun.

Brett W (mx) wrote: The adjective 'poetic' gets thrown around too often when describing things that aren't poetry, but that's not the case here, because this film is poetry. Even though while watching it I would have preferred something a little more accessible (being the philistine I am) there's no denying that Paradjanov uses non-linear imagery perhaps better than any other filmmaker of all time to create the same dream-like state as the greatest of poets.

Tanner B (ru) wrote: First Blood (1982) C-97m. ??? D: Ted Kotcheff. Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Brian Dennehy. Gritty, raw, exciting action film that packs a wallop: Vietnam veteran takes on entire military police force almost immediately after returning home. Bitingly intrusive--and the action never flags. Followed by three sequels.

Niall C (br) wrote: Sentimental, yes, but uplifting and heartwarming - and sometimes you need that. I was entertained, and moved.
