Alejandro E (fr) wrote: The surrealistic counterpart of Mision Impossible against the wicked, unscrupulous gunsellers.Plenty of humor and witt.Check it.

Evan K (nl) wrote: Great stuff here, met and exceed my expectations. Great story, with terrific balance of drama and humour.

Teri Tiki A (gb) wrote: I gave this a 5-star review or as Siskel and Ebert my 2 thumbs up.....

Ethan L (jp) wrote: One of those Lohan flops that still had a name.

Joshua P (kr) wrote: A fun little action romp, but nothing truly special or memorable. This may be the last movie I saw in a theater with my dad.

Mark F (jp) wrote: Fun and gruesome monster movie.

Fong K (de) wrote: Dismissed by German Oscar selection committee for the submission for that year's Best Foreign Language Film Oscar but received an Oscar nod for Best Adapted Screenplay, Agnieszka Holland's Holocaust-themed dark comedy about a Jewish teenager dodging death with sheer good luck and by assuming a chain of bogus identities is poignantly funny.

Eddie G (ru) wrote: Despite a serious flaw, California Suite is both a classic and a movie well worth watching. The Oscar winning performance of Maggie Smith as a long unappreciated actress nominated for an Oscar, is sufficient to elevate this movie to the must see category. Michael Cain is brilliant as Maggie Smiths' husband. Walter Matthau proves again that he can play but not overplay a difficult comedic situation. Alan Alda and Jane Fonda both deliver moving performance as a long divorced couple wrestling with the wreckage of their marriage as they wrestle with their daughters future. Neil Simon's Oscar nominated script is only flawed by the inclusion of the story of two Doctors and their wives vacationing together, which is never the less played well by Richard Prior and Bill Cosby. The visuall, sometimes over the top, slapstick of this skit does not fit well with the verball comedy of the other stories. It would have made a great movie of it's own, but seems out of place with the other stories. Despite this flaw, California Suite remains a movie well worth seeing, filled with Neil Simons wit, and excellent performances by Hollywood legends.

Godwin G (ca) wrote: Yeah, the killing scenes are quite entertaining, but without an original plot or creativity to stand on? Just, no...

James H (es) wrote: 48/100. Certainly one of Elvis Presley's lesser efforts, there aren't even many good songs in it. The plot is paper thin and it is just thrown together without much thought except to exploit the popularity of Elvis at the time and an excuse to display a lot of bikini clad women. Pretty painful to sit through at times, the yoga musical number is one of the low points.

Kismet Black (mx) wrote: My favorite movie of all time- rare- if anyone finds this on DVD- let know PLEASE!

Daniel K (it) wrote: 1: Awful picture with virtually no redeeming qualities. I know why Cagney made it, he loved musicals and was patriotic and it fit his persona, but he doesn't give much of a performance. Doris Day and her charisma is about the only bright spot in this ho-hum and tired story.

WS W (kr) wrote: No. Thanks but no thanks.

Mr Movie R (ca) wrote: Great movie and great comedy

DJ J (mx) wrote: Not the best movie I ever seen, but it was funny at times and I enjoyed watching it.
