The corporate world was a crooked soap opera then, it's just as crooked now if not more worse. There should be more movies like this these days. I heard there is a sequel to "Wall Street" coming.

The film was the first to publicly admonish the Nazi party, which back in 1939 was a bold decision. Confessions can be faulted for a lacking supporting cast and timid direction, but it still serves as a fascinating time capsule of the social state of America prior to entering the war.
