Kirk Lazarus: Everybody knows you never go full retard.Tugg Speedman: What do you mean?Kirk Lazarus: Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...

Freddie F (mx) wrote: In David Cronenberg's first film he uses free association to craft a scatterbrained exploration of sexuality. The film examines the connection between the mental and physical components of sexuality, and (like he later would in "Crash" extensively) delves into sexuality as an abstract concept that can be expressed and captured in ways other than the common physical act. I love the black and white photography, and it is definitely of interest to anyone who likes Cronenberg.

Douglas L (ru) wrote: I reallt see what they tried to do with Gallowalkers, unfortunately it just missed the mark with me. They tried to make a western Blade, thinking it would possibly have the successes of Blade, but it just seemed to not have anything going for it, characters, plot, most of the action scenes were quite sloppy. You won't be missing anything if you miss this Snipes film.
