Sanity Assassin (gb) wrote: Enjoyed The Lorax very much. A bit of a slow start with an equally obtuse cheesy ending and ultimately it's the intersecting story of the beanpole and his desire to be successful, whilst being surrounded by all-too-cute animals, that keeps the eye on the ball. The outer narrative works, though only, as a gateway into the inner message which is...We thneed trees! Thoroughly well made!

Germn I (de) wrote: Interesante como muestra la vida de una adolescente con todas las cosas que nos pasan en esa edad en alguna ciudad que podra ser del norte de nuestro pas.

Stephen J (gb) wrote: Falls way short of the mark on the neo-noir scale. Makes for a fine time-waster for a rainy Sunday afternoon, but otherwise not worth any great effort to see it. See it for the stunning sets, not the shallow plot. It is fun to see Elisha Cook, Jr doing himself again, but if you really want Hammett on film, dust off your copy of 1941's "Maltese Falcon."

Senor C (mx) wrote: I'll be the first to say it..kids are fucking little bastards. In youth you are filled w/ such frustration that you have to rebel against everything & anything. Most adults you just can't relate to. There is only your friends, drugs, alcohol & of course violence. Truthfully you had no one you had to adhere to. You couldn't do hard time & really the worst that could happen is you being sent to juvenile detention. If you were crafty enough that never happened & you could just run amuck. Over the Edge is an interesting look @ that angst although its difficult where you are actually supposed to lay your loyalties. It shouldn't be w/ the kids because they are hellions & it can't be w/ the parents because they are so ass wipe. It's not subjective enough for you not to be forced to take sides though. All in all society is just fucked up

Rick R (fr) wrote: "Affair in Trinidad"If you liked the teaming of Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford in "Gilda", then you'll like this one too. It's pretty close to the same movie. Rita plays Chris Emery, a night club singer in Trinidad, who's Husband is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Steve Emery, played by Glenn Ford, arrives in Trinidad, only to find out that his Brother is dead and the local courts seem to think it was a suicide instead of an obvious murder. Chris Emery is asked to go undercover by the local police and investigate an X-Nazi, the man who is fond of her, and may have also killed her husband, while Steve Emery is suspicious, jealous, and falling in love with his Sister-in-law. He is trying to get at the truth on his own and it seems to be drawn to the Wife and this man that she is seeing.Rita Hayworth gets to do a couple of hot singing and dancing numbers, and Glenn Ford gets to do some shooting and fist-a-cuffs.

Jane Z (es) wrote: Don't rent this from Redbox. It's not worth it. Even if you have a free rental code like I did. Even if you only rent it to look at Krysten Ritter... like I did.

Serge L (kr) wrote: Hilarious over the top story with adventures that subtly and less subtly refers to real life story and characters. Very good animations with beautiful graphics. Silly and smart. Funny extras.
