Don S (de) wrote: A poorly written and scripted chase movie. Lots of action, very little plot. Hawke usually gives better than average performances but had little to work with here. Only gets a (barely) passing grade because it was fun to listen to the former Disney star Gomez cursing up a storm and looking good while doing it.

Ricardo C (ag) wrote: None of it bothers me. I like Catherine Breillat's intentions, her unapologatic and unconventional filmmaking that challenges the big dogs (Men). The controversy she spurs is also a plus. If you're familiar with editing techniques, some of the gross-out imagery in this movie will not get to you, though I read that the sex was unsimulated (!) Its problem was its stationary anatomical dissection. I deduce simply from the title because I had some effing bad fansubs (Need to rewatch), which means a lot of the dialogue I didn't fully comprehend. But I saw enough to make me decide it's badly put together. The script and ending have no true dedication, the actors are there so that Breillat can just teach audiences with them, as though they were puppets.

Tatsuhito K (ru) wrote: A charming drama film that makes you smile and evokes tears.

James R (fr) wrote: A great pseudo-documentary, conspiracy movie about one of the most famous oldskewl hackers, Karl Koch. Could also be seen as a historical piece. Worth checking out for anyone into those topics, but other people probably would not find it very interesting.

Heather M (ru) wrote: This was just a terrible love story in the end.

Carolyn G (kr) wrote: I still find Don Johnson to be so annoying as to detract from whatever movie he is in, no matter if I like the rest of the cast. I thought Costner was surprisingly funny and I always love Rene Russo. Otherwise, this was nothing to rave about.

Nathan C (es) wrote: I find this movie Overheatingly Painful, The film should have been called The Super Dumb Brothers. It had great acting, i do like bob hoskins but this movie was Game Over, a Mess and one of the worst movies i ever seen in my entire life. No Way I'm ever watching this shit again.

Kevin H (nl) wrote: At times, painful to watch but overall very well done

Lilia A (it) wrote: The first hour of this movie is awful. I pushed myself through it though, and discovered that the rest of the movie is quite enjoyable and humorous. I would never watch this movie again and would never recommend it to anyone. You should never have to skip an hour of a movie to get to the enjoyable part.

Eric H (au) wrote: A horrible movie that you can't keep your eyes away from. It really deserves a treatment by Mystery Science Theater 3000. Franco Zefferelli! directs this bomb which has the debut of James Spader and Tom Cruise. It's actually fun to watch one more unbelievable plot point after another. The only quality aspects of production are the visuals and the song by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross but who cares!

Anderson G (mx) wrote: Se fazendo de melodrama, Sirk traa um pungente e melanclico filme sobre a ausncia de limites na busca por uma paixo, o que geralmente no tem nada de romntico.

David C (us) wrote: Secong film I watch from Lang after Metropolis, no doubt a very good filmmaker; Liliom was good, maybe a bit long but good anyway.

Stephen E (au) wrote: One of those silent films that has had an infinite amount of influence of modern cinema, "Safety Last!" features the instantly likable Harold Lloyd, a twisty narrative and a hilarious turn of events. The stunt work is quite phenomenal and that iconic clock-hanging scene is just as much of spectacle today as it was back then.

Kristen R (gb) wrote: Terrifyingly honest and raw documentary that leaves you reeling. Difficult to watch some times but the importance of the truth means it's a must see. These issues cannot be ignored just because they make us uncomfortable.

Kiel C (au) wrote: Alec Baldwin's scene isn't as powerful as it once was with the multiple homages. It's a classic though and well worth a watch

Scott R (it) wrote: an interesting premise, but man, it is a stupid film

Ethan P (fr) wrote: Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell's dazzling performances keep this simple, upbeat musical going.
