Min Guk C (fr) wrote: I've got to say (and this is only an opinion), one of the critical factors of a movie like this is it's emotional appeal. I actually cried when the daughter begged for the army to not shoot her mother. I also felt the struggles that the Main Character went through, to some degree at the very least.

Dave L (es) wrote: I'm usually a fan of Werner Herzog stuff but this documentary seemed average in comparison with some of the rest of his work. The cave, of course, is fascinating and the tour is worth watching for sure. There were some really cheesy moments in the dialogue such as "listen to the cave's heartbeat and our own heartbeats". Really? If a viewer can get past that, they may be interested in a tour of humanity's oldest paintings on a cave wall.

Jeff N (ca) wrote: I'm a bit speechless as to what I just watched. This movie is the cinematic equivalent of tripping on acid. Starring "The League"'s Mark Duplass, who brings with him his typically bone-dry wit along with a better ability to act than I would have thought, as well as the adorable Elisabeth Moss, "The One I Love" is one of the most unique films about love and relationships that I've ever seen. Though predictable at times, simplistic this movie was not. It's a headscratcher, but it's insane premise keeps you locked in wondering what in the world is going to happen next.
Roy T (de) wrote: Both Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery reprise their roles from the original. There is a bit of strange revisionist history going on with the origin story and timelines and the whole thing doesn't make a lot of sense. It borders on slapstick at times. It's constantly regarded as one of the worst films ever made, and I've gotta say I'm not gonna mount a strong disagreement there. I give Highlander 2: The Quickening, one half of one star.Still better than this film though.
