Shane D (us) wrote: I think this is the best Duplass brothers film. It helps to have the talents of John C Reilly, Catherine Keener, Marisa Tomei and Jonah Hill carrying the flick, but I thought it told a pretty unique story that was generally believable thanks to the actors involved. It was funnier than I expected it to be and unpredictable enough that I never felt like I knew where it was ultimately going to end up. It tells a good story with likable characters and a good sense of humor, and the dynamic between Hill and Reilly is almost as good as the pairing of Reilly and Will Ferrell in Step Brothers. Highly recommended for fans of "mumblecore" films or indie comedies.

Vince K (nl) wrote: Excellent documentary on the plight of Iraq's only heavy metal band, Acrassicauda (pronounced A-Crass-A-Kuda). The band suffers many hardships before immigrating to war-free Syria. The band is alright (I downloaded their demo last night, which the recording of is documented in this film). It's remarkable just being the only metal demo from Iraq ever made. The band recently immigrated to New York City as refugees, and have their first album in the works. Definitely going to watch their career. Oh, and it was cool to see what metalheads are like living in Iraq.

Dutch V (us) wrote: I really wish I could have liked this movie more, because I think it could have been really great. The problem was, is that I really disliked the way the Neo Nazi was played. On top of that there was just too many long drawn out sequences where nothing really happens. This is a pretty decent movie overall, I just think it is too long and boring.

Ashley H (us) wrote: I Am Sam is a decent film. It is about a mentally handicapped man who fights for custody of his 7-year-old daughter. Sean Penn, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Dakota give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. Jessie Nelson did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama.
