Darren B (mx) wrote: Yes 5 stars. This film was smartly written, produced and directed. It had the What If premise throughout coinciding with varying degrees of thought - philosophical presence underlying each scene to the rather somber conclusion. The acting was great and the motive behind this unique film was no doubt to garner thought and try to answer the age old question of "what if" presented in various scenarios involving "end of the world."I highly and strongly recommend this film. It may not leave you with a smile on your face but it will give you what feels like a PhD.
Adam R (ru) wrote: A unique thriller that shows the same story from several different perspectives. It feels like you are solving a puzzle as you learn more from each perspective. (First and only full viewing - In my early twenties)
Steve W (ag) wrote: A mixed philosophical crime story about married thieves who protect a naive villager and his life savings from a group of pickpockets on a train. It's not the destination that effects them, but the journey. It has some weird but excellent "duel" like thieving sequences, very much like the ones in Johnnie To's Sparrow (2008), although his scenes are more clear and decipherable. The real heart is the change of characters, as they move through arcs while the movie progresses. It ends on a low note, but a very stylish and emotional film.

Kevin L (ru) wrote: Given that it's presently January, my thoughts turn to baseball, so I pulled up this one. It's pretty mediocre. The plot has a lot of possibilities -- a MLB'er trailing off in his career, and getting traded to a Japanese team. But the scenarios played out in this one are a bit tame. Dennis Haysbert is a standout, however.
