When a sad moment come on the horizon, it is eventually saved by a happy moment that will put the biggest smile on your face. It is an amazing story of friendship and music. I loved Bandslam, and I'm going to be honest, it's better than I expected. In fact it is brilliant storytelling. Vanessa Hudgens and Alyson Michalka are amazing here and even Gaelen Connell who is an up and coming star from this film, is a decent actor himself. This is pure teen film with no swearing, but just enough laughter and emotion to keep adults interested. Bandslam ROCKS!

The ending is sweet but is too boring to satisfy

Dr Connors isn't really a villain he is more of an obstacle and proves his human side by end of film, which makes the film pointless. Anyhu the movie aims high but delivers very low. I don't know if it is the cast or just the story. If its someone's first film then they did well.

The only saving grace this film has is Adrienne Harrell, who plays the elderly restaurant owner Erma.
