Adil S (fr) wrote: This was Shahrukh Khan?s first movie as a producer, and it was a flop at the box office. I think the destiny at the box office was well deserved. This one came in 2000, and I wasn?t so inspired to watch it. But last weekend, I didn?t found any other movie, so I gave this one a chance, which I shouldn?t have done. The movie was full of clich elements from movies in late 90?s, which wasn?t exactly inspiring? But it seems like Shahrukh Khan has learned from this failure, and improved the production quality of his later movies, i.e. Chalte Chalte, Kaal, Main Hoon Naa. There were some good songs, which helped to increase the grading

Hannah P (de) wrote: Some very ropey acting in this. Combs is great in the opening but after he burns the film pretty much goes down hill for me. Amusing in parts but mainly a very shoddy plot overall which results in a rather ludicrous ending.

Richard D (us) wrote: I have never been able to decide how I feel about this one. It's the first post-Deliverance Boorman film I have any real affection for. It's the only film adaptation of the Arthurian legends that feels tonally spot on, and it's a delightfully adult fantasy film with a magnificent cast (although I have never been able to warm up to Nigel Terry as Arthur). It manages to reel in the ridiculous self-indulgence that harms Boorman's previous two films, at least for the first 3/4 of the film. The last 1/4 stops working for me almosat entirely.

Bill B (us) wrote: Daniel Radcliffe gives a great performance as a young man afflicted with devil horns and trying to solve the murder and rape of his girlfriend, soon learning that the horns give him power over those around him and force them to tell the truth or give in to their desires. This was a fun little flick, and I naturally loved little Juno Temple as his love interest, because she can do no wrong.Recommended.
