Andrew F (nl) wrote: Hilary Swank is actually hot which I had no idea (at least in this), and the movie picks up in the second half. When Swank gets jailed and gets all rogue its actually interesting... sort of. Music is so out of place at times you can't help but laugh.

Sean N (ru) wrote: Alex Cox gets way too much shit for this movie mostly because people can't take their period pieces with intentional anachronisms and historical inaccuracy. Suckers

Jason R (ca) wrote: Ilsa turning face..what a concept. A fun exploitation outing

Chuck N (kr) wrote: Don't get me wrong this is a bad movie. A bad bad bad movie, but there's something about it that's strangely appealing. (Not a recommendation)

Mark W (jp) wrote: Unrealistic, different and dopey... It was actually quite fantastic. The Sci-Fi horror picture, Tarantula, is quite a treat, you have to give credit for 50's special effects with this one... Even though I'm not the most comfortable person with spiders it really didn't hit the scare button, but it was certainly fun to watch!

Ed Fucking H (jp) wrote: With a title like Planet of the Vampires how could I not love this midnite classic from Mario Bava. A crew of space explorers, in nifty leather outfits, arrive on a mysterious, fog filled planet and members of the crew begin to act strangely. What follows is a fight to the death for the very future of the human race. The vampires of the title aren't really vampires at all but rather body snatchers who exist as a particle (or something like that) until they posses a human host/body. The ending was pure dopeness. Not to be missed by those who go for this kinda thing (like me!)
