Evan O (ca) wrote: Movie poster with Michael Biehn is from the 2014 American remake directed by Patricio Valladares. The Chilean original from 2 years previous begins with violent domestic abuse: a mother is viciously murdered and her two young daughters are left behind to be raised by her husband, the very man who killed her. Years later, he is a drug trafficker, living in the same house out in the woods and obviously abusing his daughters. The movie's violence is only outmatched by its sexual depravity, most of which is quite graphic. Not recommended for the squeamish. With respect to the Spanish language, it was a fairly difficultmovie to understand for a non-native speaker like myself. While it was hardly necessary to follow the dialogue to understand the plot of the film, subtitles were definitely necessary to understand the dialogue.

Allan C (mx) wrote: The film doesn't totally work, but there are many things to like about it, expecially Bronson and Ireland. It's a charming yet sad and tragic romance between outlaw Bronson and widower Ireland. It's always fun to see Bronson play something outside of his usual tough guy roles because he did them so infrequently and was always so good. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for Bronson fans, or western fans, or even romance fans, but I liked it. I'm not really sure what demographic the film was aimed at.

colin m (mx) wrote: many people think this movie is corny but i like it. i does have a very good wide variety of special effects. it keeps me wondering what will happen next. there is a lot of sad parts that makes it interesting. how do they even make theses special effects like the animals, shadows and the people hanging from the rope off the cliff? some parts are easily noticeable to tell when something is fake. i reccomend this movie to people who like action and sad movies.
