Emanuele B (gb) wrote: an insult to the book. the plot is a joke and the psychotic actress beyond ridiculous. Only one who does not disappoint is Hauer, as usual. Uncle Nebe really looked like the nice uncle who got dumb with time... sad end for a great story and a movie which started with a relatively well done prologue
John H (us) wrote: The acting isn't always so great but it is a great story. It is a testamony to the power of money and greed. What would you do to get 20 million dollars from a lothesome uncle?

Jordan A (jp) wrote: A benchmark in action-comedy cinema, Walter Hill, the director of The Warriors brings two unlikely actors together brilliantly, with a gritty and powerful performance by Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy is oh so hilarious. The writing is good and the violence is as brutal and bloody as it is intense with believable and ruthless villains. 4 out of 5 stars.

Ross M (ru) wrote: If your movie is going to intentionally look like crap, at least take the time to make it at least scary or entertaining. Paranormal Activity turned into the next big franchise after the Saw movies ended. The original ad campaign didn't do much for me so I never got around to seeing the movie until now. Needless to say, I was not impressed. Not nearly enough happens in the movie to make up for the unlikable characters and intentionally slow pace. 1 1/2 stars
Michael W (de) wrote: This is a textbook example of a Shrek wannabe. Excessive pop culture jokes, pointless scenes that don't add up to anything meaningful, and some not very well thought out jokes. I kind of like the film's message, but I honestly can't recommend this one.
