When 30 something Sean meets Eastern European immigrant Wolf, sparks fly. They return to Sean’s apartment and begin a high energy and hugely sexual affair. What starts as a mere chance meeting slowly evolves into something more. Wolf is easy going, turning tricks to supplement his living, while Sean is needy, talkative and neurotic. Creating a stable relationship is fraught with problems. With Wolf disappearing for hours at a time and Sean doing drugs the two of them seem to be headed down a path of destruction.

(ag) wrote: I saw this one after seeing Worlds Away, and I have to say that in comparison to that film I was disappointed. That's not to say there isn't a lot of talent here, but the newer film is just simply more fun to watch. My biggest problem with this one is the horribly dim lighting that made me feel like I was squinting the entire time. But beyond that, this one just isn't quite as captivating as Worlds Away. There are a couple of acts that are a great deal of fun to watch, but for the most part I was underwhelmed.

(jp) wrote: On va pas numrer tous les dfauts de ce film tellement ils sont nombreux, juste dire que ce n'est rien comparer la franche rigolade et au vrai plaisir qu'on a regarder ce film qui runi deux genres populaires, la blaxploitation et le film de Kung Fu. Ralis par un Robert Clouse habitu l'exercice (il a fait "Enter the Dragon") et jou par un Jim Kelly visiblement marqu par sa collaboration avec Bruce Lee peu de temps avant, "Black Belt Jones" n'est ni plus ni moins qu'une affaire de rglement de compte entre la pgre du coin et un club de karat. Mais l'intrt n'est pas l, il est dans les combats pleurer de rire, les gueules caricaturales souhait, et surtout dans un grand combat final dans la mousse qu'on hsite qualifier de culte ou de ridicule, en fait, c'est les deux ! Jim Kelly est un formidable athlte et un acteur discutable mais il est tellement sympathique au spectateur qu'on lui pardonne mme quand on grille sa doublure !!! Et bien sr la magnifiquement canon Gloria Hendry en femme forte comme on en voit souvent dans les films d'exploitation, loin des gonzesses qui se font facilement enlever et qui cassent leurs voix appeler au secour ! Un grand moment de dtente et de fun comme seul ce genre sait en donner, et une occasion de voir le grand Scatman Crothers faire du karat !!!!!!
