Shane J (fr) wrote: great idea but no money or actors to back it up!! the effects are dreadful and everything happens is so predictable you only need to watch about 10minutes of it to guess whats gonna happen, when brooke hogan's the star you got to be asking questions!!

Luis E (ru) wrote: I too can't believe no one has picked this movie up. I saw it at Sundance and it was by far one of the most original pieces of work that I've ever seen. It definitely makes you go through a lot of self-examination and most importantly, it is very entertaining.
Tamsin S (de) wrote: one if those films with a depressed monosylabic central character and lots of meaningful staring.
hailee e (mx) wrote: This is the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen. The acting was horrible, the camera man had no clue what he was doing, none of the effects were even remotely realistic. There was even a scene in the morgue where a headless man was lying, and I saw him breathe!! Headless people don't breathe! In fact, this movie was so cheesy and poorly made, that I showed it to my friends as a joke. I don't know where we got this movie, but I hope to God that we didn't pay for it.
MF J (de) wrote: A little film that is more worthy to watch for the cast (Banderas & Jolie) than for the actual story. It could have been much better but once again a stupid happy ending waste the whole film.

Randy P (kr) wrote: Killing cats, albinos, sniffing glue, wrestling chairs, local hicks and social commentary. Harmony Korine began telling stories out of sequence, and told it right. On the outside is quite dingy and hideous with scraps on the lawn, termite infested houses, elderly on life support, obnoxious locals, and children playing in junk yards. While on the inside, Gummo is majestic and heartfelt with a pink rabbit eared boy, sisters infatuated with their cat and their bodies, brothers rough housing, and a mother estranged from her son, yet hold a special bond without spoken words. It's dark, complicated and unfamiliar to a lot of people, but maybe unfamiliar is what we need. It's nice to visit places we haven't explored yet, and Harmony brings you there and tells you a story about it.It is grotesque and beautiful at the same time, which is hard to find.

Mark S (ru) wrote: "Chariots of Fire" may be slowly-paced, but it still holds up as the movie that every sports film aspires to be. It examines British society after the Great War through the eyes of Olympic runners Abrahams & Liddell and focuses on what drives both men to be greats. Ultimately Chariots of Fire is a look at two men who found ways to stay true to their beliefs in the face of what society expected of them.

John D (ru) wrote: I must admit, with some guilt, that I found this rather enjoyable. Sure, it's predictable and fraught with melodrama, but the cast carries it well. I'm still a little surprised that Carol Reed directed a circus movie.

Peter B (es) wrote: The cast is clearly working hard to try and make sense of a script that is a befuddled mess.
