Eric B (mx) wrote: Enough of this heavy indie interweaving stories crap.

Patrick B (jp) wrote: Olivier Assayas's "Summer Hours" is a light-hearted yet often intense family drama. Cultural, artistic, and poetic, yet more than just an artist making art about art...

Melanie D (gb) wrote: Pretty darn cool "what if" scenario to what we would find on an Earth-like planet, Darwin IV. Everything in the film that has to do with the travel and the planet itself is made with awesome CGI, and features "real interviews" with scientists who are working on the actual project, but who were asked to act as if the project were already under-way and successful. It's really cool. 9.5/10, great fun.

Oona B (au) wrote: interesting way of capturing the sixties in a blink - i like the middle scene, with the french couple "witnessing/observing" the two lovers (italian man and french woman) - excellent dialogue/writing.

Chris S (gb) wrote: Virtual remake of She, which should have been called "He" due to the gender reversal of a central character. Benefits from foreign location shooting (unusual for penny-pincher Hammer) and a script that owes more to Modesty Blaise than the source author H Rider Haggard.

Nate W (br) wrote: By relying more on tense human drama than spectacle (as opposed to many of his other works), Cecil B. DeMille gives "Union Pacific" a longer shelf life. However, the length is still a problem, and it does take a good while into the movie for anything interesting to happen. Though now dated, the sound recording is crisp and busy for a 1930??s production.
