Carolyn H (us) wrote: This movie is screamingly funny. I highly recommend it for anyone familiar with FIFA politics and the always shady Sepp Blatter. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments and a fairy tale ending. A must watch!

Peter F (jp) wrote: Yorgos Lanthimos' follow up to Dogtooth (one of my favorite films of the last few years) doesn't break much new ground stylistically or thematically, but that's hardly a flaw. Like the previous film, The Alps is an uneasy examination on artificiality, communication, and identity, accompanied by a wickedly subtle sense of humor. Those in the right mood will find the dead-pan performances absolutely hilarious, and It's even more abstract than Dogtooth (perhaps in no small part because of it's briefer running time). Some will call it a companion piece, while others will call it a do-over, but whatever the case the film is another testament towards Lanthimos place as a singular visionary. So look out fans of surrealist cinema, cause this twisted genius is on a roll.

William M (au) wrote: This is a great 90s film. It has every clich and has a bunch of fun with them. This outdoes fast and furious 6 more than a decade prior. As an action film, it just doesn't get better.
