Dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y

An acclaimed hijacking documentary that eerily foreshadowed 9/11. We meet the romantic skyjackers who fought their revolutions and won airtime on the passenger planes of the 1960's and 1970's. By the 1990's, such characters were apparently no more, replaced on our TV screens by stories of anonymous bombs in suitcases. Director Johan Grimonprez investigates the politics behind this change, at the same time unwrapping our own complicity in the urge for ultimate disaster.

Rob J (de) wrote: Not quite the Herzog film I thought it would be. Some overstated claims (especially re: the king of hackers!) but a relative balance between technophilia and technophobia Elon Musk seems insane on the evidence presented here

Katie B (ag) wrote: Pretty straight up lame..

Emir A (kr) wrote: I love this movie, selena and demi are awesome in it 5/5

bill s (jp) wrote: Rockwell and Houston shine but the story and the other cast members are mere window dressing.

James M (au) wrote: Good movie, and props to it for sticking to Canadian legal procedures and such and not trying to pretend to be something it wasn't.

Aidan H (br) wrote: The best comic book movie ever!

Patrick S (gb) wrote: come on van damme! where are the helicopter kicks?!

TheHulk A (fr) wrote: Screws the franchise more than if Brad stops doing chucky's voice to replace it with a 3 year old and if The Legends of Hercules's creator directed this it would of been way better

Ruben A (mx) wrote: Great film from a great director, if you don't like it is because you don't get it.

Tristan G (ru) wrote: Very well made and brilliantly acted by the whole cast. The ending is absolutely heartwrenching. The only real problem I have with the film is that it's tough to get into with everything that goes on in it.

Michael M (kr) wrote: I dig the movie within a movie concept and it's cool how they throw back to stuff from the original, but this is easily the worst installment of the franchise. The stuff with Sidney's mother is just ridiculous and Courtney Cox goes from her hottest (in Scream 2) to her ugliest looking all anorexic with those terrible bangs/mullet. And Ehren Kruger is a horrible writer. Awful dialogue abounds in this threequel.

Jayakrishnan R (mx) wrote: 86%Saw this on 5/4/16It starts off rather slow and seems to place familiar plot elements, but thanks to a talented cast and some terrific slapstick, death at a funeral manages to be better than the sum of its parts. This is what makes one really laugh out loud, not the stupid self indulgent and self righteous films from America that bear the name of comedy.

Scott R (fr) wrote: sweet though filming in black and white was an odd choice. Tatum O'Neal is stunning
