As a writer I appreciate the thought that was put into writing the script. It felt very real and authentic to me. Far too often horror movies are all about blood and gore and they lack a relate-able story (although it had some pretty amazing gore scenes). That is what made this movie so fantastic for me. As a true horror fan, there are few movies that have that real creepy factor. This movie had me waiting to see how the story was going to unfold, it was far from predictable. This movie absolutely should be shown in every theater. I left the theater so excited and already looking forward to what Renae and Tyler come up with next. With such rich story lines and talented actors, the skies the limit with this duo. I would love to see them do a romantic comedy to show the world just how diverse and talented they really are. I really hope this movie gets distributed so I can buy the DVD!

Gordon H (br) wrote: Extremely DisappointingOriginally Written December 29, 2011-- When Austria's crown prince is found dead, evidence seems to point to suicide. However, detective Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) deduces that the prince was murdered and that the crime is but a piece of a puzzle designed by an evil genius named Moriarty (Jared Harris). Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson (Jude Law), who are accompanied by a Gypsy (Noomi Rapace) whose life Holmes saved, chase Moriarty across Europe in the hope that they can thwart his plot before it can come to fruition. I really liked the first film in this series starring Downey and Law, but this one was just extremely disappointing. It just didn't have the same spark that the first film did. It was certainly exciting and had a lot of cool action, but it just never went anywhere and seemed in the end to be a waste of time. Wait for Redbox on this one.

Bryan R (nl) wrote: If you've seen a romantic film about a soldier and a civilian girl falling in love with each other, chances are you already know the plot to Dear John without even watching it. The story is too formulaic and cliched and it comes to no surprise that it became the cash cow that it was for many women and their emasculated boyfriends/husbands! The story of this film is this: Soldier on leave meets girl. They fall in love and two weeks later, soldier returns to duty. By some will, they managed to stay emotionally and romantically connected for an entire year via writing letters to each other. Things happen, she marries someone else and they hug at the end with little to no clues if they ever get together. Not only is the love story bad, but the portrayal of John as a soldier is just as hokey and typical of Hollywood's idealistic image of what a service member should be. Not only this, but it's clear that everyone involved in the making of this film have no clue as to how Special Forces soldiers operate on mission or conduct themselves with one another. I must also mention the lack of attention to detail with uniforms and rank. Does an Operator really stay on as a Staff Sergeant for 6 years and not EVER make Sergeant First Class? And why is he going to Parade Rest to a civilian doctor? Why does he wear his SSG rank the wrong way on the lapel when he's in his Class Bs? Why is SSG Tyree going on telling people that he's in Group when it's no one's business? Perhaps it's shit like this that forced 10th SFG (A) to flag his E-7 promotion. Many questions not answered and I only have the production team of Dear John to blame. All in all, if you want to see a love story, avoid this like the plague. I assure you there are far better romance movies out there!

Robyn M (au) wrote: Honey i shrunk the kids was a great cult classic and big for its special effects at the time. But Honey i blew-up the kid was just a slap in the face and a far cry to being a masterpiece, yet Rick Moranis came back for more. Why? Not sure? Honey we shrunk ourselve was more then redenent and lacking of the orginal cast making new comers fill big shoes or shall i say small now? The film isn't Great or really worth a watch unless nothing else is on, and you have cable the show may happen come on.. other wise view at your own risk but don't say i warned you!

Bill B (au) wrote: Finally gave this sleazy little gem a look after tracking down the OOP DVD for a somewhat reasonable price. Loved it from start to finish, everything you'd want from the Exploitation and Sexpolitation of the '70s, though I was saddened to hear that the lovely Tiffany Bolling has a low opinion of her work from this period and has gone all Right-Wing type in her later years.Well worth a look, track that mother down!

What a waste of built up nerves and anxiety for this movie. I do not, I repeat DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE WHATSOEVER. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF GETTING THE AUDIENCE EXCITED. If I could give this movie negative stars, I WOULD. that's just it.

ann n (it) wrote: It is a very emotional movie and I loved it as a child. It gives a lot of messages. Most say the work of the artist and producer was not good enough but I have found people knowing it and searching for it for many years and it is not available, not even on DVD.
