Andy P (nl) wrote: Corny trash, but that's alright, its intended audience, likely females in their early teens won't be as critical as I am, they will just enjoy the pretty people dancing. Dull, poorly acted and a hackneyed story.

Nym H (it) wrote: Positively Awesome. I watched it once already and would love to watch it again and again.

John M (fr) wrote: Solid performances here, and Softley is good at evoking the period; the music, too, is very well chosen and performed, if not bang on the Beatles' sound. However, the film is understated, too understated. For me, it never gets up enough speed to be all that engaging.

ZACHO D (kr) wrote: Another sign that Bruce MacDonalds Canada's best director.

Scott C (kr) wrote: I know this has a cult following, but it didn't really grab me. My friend loves it.

Bachir H (ru) wrote: There's a reason why 'West Side Story' is considered one of the best musicals of all time.

Martin T (gb) wrote: To judge this as a sequel is to diminish it. It's a superb film in its own right, and except for a few small details it doesn't rely on the previous film at all. The cast is uniformly superb and some of the subtleties in the relationships become clearer on a second viewing. I also like how it's structured, a series of 10 dialogues, never more than 2 people in a scene. As the title implies, it's almost musical in its form... slightly artistic and slightly mathematical.

Warner, Eddie Anderson, George Zucco, Donald MacBride Director: Roy Del Ruth Summary: Roland Young returns as Cosmo Topper in the third and final film (following 1937's Topper and 1939's Topper Takes a Trip) in the highly popular comedy series. This time around, Joan Blondell is the ghost, and Topper helps her rest in peace by finding her murderer. My Thoughts: "I unfortunately have only seen the third film in this series, but I hope to see the first two cause this film was a delight. Very funny and silly with a great fun cast. Billie Burke, was quite funny and had the best one-liners along with Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson. Great old film. Give it a chance if these are not your type of films."

Bruno L (au) wrote: Good. Scenes are often rather static. The main caper scene is reduced to a somewhat confusing montage. A lot of the acting is rather flat. The writing was really good though.

Steve D (it) wrote: Another dumb and pointless Disney remake, of an already forgettable film

Ethan K (gb) wrote: This unique Disney film is entertaining on so many levels, with an entertaining cast of barnyard characters, and a tuneful Alan Menken score. It's fun for the whole family, as it appeals to all ages.
