Sergio Andres P (de) wrote: "Grave Encounters" is one of the scariest found footage horror films i've seen. Is atmospheric, creepy, and too shocking. A clever indie horror flick which explore different aspects of psychological suspense, jumpscares and great scary location which makes it effective. Maybe it would be better without some gory scenes. But is still frightening and terrifying. I just loved it. 4/5

He ends up in Last Vegas and along the way becomes friends w/ Graham Greene who's been a losing streak w/ cards but Huck may be just the person to turn things around for him. Hunter D (kr) wrote: It's a shame John McNaughton's career never really took off. HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER is a masterpiece, and Martin Scorsese recognized McNaughton's talent, tapping him to direct this film. Robert De Niro plays a shy, insecure cop ironically nicknamed "Mad Dog," who saves the life of a big-shot mobster with a love of stand-up comedy, portrayed with playful intensity by Bill Murray. As a thank-you present, he sends a girl who owes him a debt in the form of Uma Thurman. Of course, they fall in love, and Murray's gangster isn't so understanding when Mad Dog isn't content to leave her in his clutches after her time with him is up. MAD DOG AND GLORY is a crazy combo of the rom-com, gangster and buddy cop movie, and for the most part it works well. I never thought I'd see a movie where De Niro, usually a very intense, tough actor, must muster the courage to take on a tough guy Bill Murray, but McNaughton's ability to work with actors makes for a film that contains performances you wouldn't expect. It's no classic, but MAD DOG AND GLORY is one that is certainly overlooked even by fans of De Niro, Murray, and even McNaughton himself.
