This film has a little bit of everything. It's got a lot of drama, some comedy, a little bit of action, and yes...romance too. Christoph Waltz is amazing as always. Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon gave decent performances, but I didn't exactly feel a strong chemistry between them. Overall, this was a much better film than I expected. It's worth a watch.

(it) wrote: Decent movie about Vietnam vets facing their ghosts. Lower profile than most of the stuff De Niro was putting out at the time and although not as good as films like Deer Hunter and Coming Home, films that deal with the same topic, its still a good, helped along by good performances, especially from a fat faced Ed Harris.

(nl) wrote: Gripping and intricate in its portrayal of a troubled teen and his limitless talent. Alfred Molina was especially good in the role of smarmy mentor who seems to be doing what's in the kids best interest, but is actually taking full advantage of the situation. I always enjoy a bit of Molina in movies.
