Tyler S (fr) wrote: This movie is one I will never watch again. Not because it's bad...because it's so harrowing and depressing due to its tone. Three lives are intertwined in a non linear aspects. They have effects on each others lives, even though at first they don't know. It involves the death of a family member and how a mother tries to deal with the loss of her family due to a tragic car crash. This crash is the center of the movie as it shows the characters before, during, and after the accident. Del Toro, Watts, and Penn all have a connection to each other. There are no laughs here, just extremely solid acting. There are themes of loss, and truthfulness explored here. Watts is the true star as a grief stricken mother who lost her husband and child.

Ryan S (kr) wrote: It took me forever to find this movie on DVD to purchase, but was soo worth it. I havent seen much with Mr. Slater in it but he does a bang up job with Mrgan Freeman. Kept my attention the whole time and was an interesting idea for a movie.

Narayanan A (gb) wrote: 19% - Se7en is an extremely slow-paced crime thriller movie with absolutely no proper plot and runs on by just building situations that have no reasons or justifiable explanations. The film is unnecessarily extreme dark and gritty that disturbs the viewers in a bad way.

Spencer S (ca) wrote: This is a very early look into the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Before becoming a big name action star and the Governor of California, Arnold was a very popular bodybuilder, who won worldwide championships some six years in a row. This documentary follows him and several other contenders who are gearing up for the Mr. Universe contest in South Africa. Arnold is a very interesting subject, very open and forthcoming about much of his life, his expectations, and his confidence. He even discusses the merits of working out, and makes a parallel to sexual satisfaction in an unforgettable interview. Another subject of the film is a pre-Hulk Lou Ferrigno, who constantly trains just to beat the Austrian wonder. It shows a lot about Arnold's personality and the way his confidence and charisma builds, and remains telling of his future.

J J (us) wrote: Outstanding really and further proof of how damaging the Hayes code was for American cinema. The film had the balls to produce a damning social commentary of the American justice system without pulling any punches. It basically tells the story of an innocent man convicted and sent to a chain gang where conditions are harsh to say the least. He manages to escape to a new state and make a new life for himself, becoming a rich, well respected citizen in the process. Predictably, his past comes back to haunt him. Based on the true story of Robert E. Burns, this film was way ahead of it's time and still manages to be harrowing and immensely powerful today. The ending itself was astonishing and refreshingly different from the usual predictable stuff that swamped most Hollywood movies till the late fifties. A must watch for anyone into classic cinema. For me, this is one of, if not the best film of the 30's, back when talkies were still in their infancy. Oh, and Paul Muni is highly underrated, his performance in this was Brando-esque.

Mason R (ag) wrote: Shaun the sheep movie, Personally I love this animated movie so deeply. It's because it is more sad and funny and heat warming than the other rival of this movie inside out. Shaun the sheep on this website had 99% while inside out has 98% on rotten tomatoes as well. 5 stars just for being more funny and more heartfelt than inside out. DVD it.
