Erin V (nl) wrote: Decent movie... funny at times. Not too slapstick... more situational humor and some people can relate very well, I'm sure!

Aurora J (de) wrote: this film was a bore, sloppy effort and the only people who would go to see this low budget suck-fest is curious horror fans and tom felton lovers (spoiler) he makes a 10 minute apperance and then dies! but don't worry in a lazy and horribly written twist he lives again! god this movie is terrible......

Gerry P (kr) wrote: Bruce Campbell should just stick to acting. This film just feels cheap (it's a TV movie) and slow moving. Bear in mind, it took Bruce 18 years to get this film made. Was it worth the effort? Well, I suppose since Bruce spent most of his life trying to get this film made. The jokes are......... meh. Some are funny like Bruce's slapstick, others like Ted Raimi's character is just............. ugh. It's quite dull and defiantly not for all Bruce fans. However, Antoinette Byron is good as Bruce's wife and so is Stacy Keach as the doctor. The music's dreadful and unmemorable. The action, not exciting.Overall the movie is just okay. You might as well rent the Evil Dead films or Bubba Ho-Tep instead. My Name is Bruce is much better though.

Robyn M (au) wrote: Great,gay-licous,fantasic and hilarous. This is a great family and gay movie. filmed in canada with some of the top great canadain house hold names. The movie is filled with a relaxed feel. Italian parents have a son 'Nino' who's stuck under his parents traditional values of whats right and wrong and your not moving until you marry. He moves anyway, with his long time best friend Angelo. Just when Nino's parents begin to accept the idea of Nino moving.

Sean Patrick, and Alexa Vega (the little girl), absolutely stole this wonderful family drama. Dare I mention that Sean Patrick is a beautiful man to look at, also...:)

Mikael K (us) wrote: A delicate and tender adaptation of the calssic Virginia Woolf novel about a character who lives through centuries, changing sex and- possibly- gender at one point. Tilda Swinton completely owns the character, giving us an exceptionally fascinating protagonist. Sally Potter adds a slightly updated and modern spice to the story through innovative directorial choices with the result of a beautiful and nicely perplexing film that is just slightly aimless and unfocused in storytelling.

Nell A (br) wrote: I stopped watching halfway in because I got tired of the movie soundtrack loudly banging on instruments every time something got even remotely creepy - I'm here to be scared, not to be deafened through my headphones. The cheap, flimsy scares and borderline insulting misplacement of Native culture in the narrative make the uninteresting and stereotypical characters unforgivable. From the angry teenage girl with an eating disorder whose vocabulary is generally limited to GO AWAY, to the younger assistant making moves on the much older and uncorruptable hero-dad... to the autistic boy whose only true expression of autism seems to be repeating words a lot. This movie really isn't worth anyone's time, and it was a waste of money to even get made - especially the money spent on decent actors to portray flat and unlikable characters.
