Steve P (mx) wrote: As a military veteran myself, I really got into this film. This movie gives you an alternate view into some of the lives of those who may have been affected by this event. Since it was classified as a cover-up, this drama gives the viewer an idea of what might have happened, along with leaving the viewer thinking about what these Marines go through.

Mike H (es) wrote: Utter crap for its time period. May have passed for a halfway respectable movie in 1930, but by 1960, even your run of the mill B movie was way beyond this. The only redemption is seeing Jack Nicholson at such a young age. But because of the trash quality of the camera used to shoot the film, even that isn't much of a consolation.

Troy F (ru) wrote: Christine is your fairly typical King fare done well with the play between dark and camp that John Carpenter is best known for. The premise is silly and feels like a tale out of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid Of The Dark, where a geeky boy buys a car that takes possession over him as he changes into a hot shot douchebag who's obsessed with his car and grows violent towards anyone who disses his car. In dark fashion, it goes to show that being overly obsessive can change you and be consequential... and in the case of this film, deadly to others! Cool film, I guess.
