Sophie P (au) wrote: I thought it it was cliched and cheesy, with some not so great acting. The main character was a little brat for most of the movie, even when she was supposed to be making her 'about-face'.

Juuso L (kr) wrote: Being a late night screening, I slept through this, but when ever I was awake the stuff on the screen was weird and violent. One of those more avantgardist pieces by Miike.

Andrew R (kr) wrote: I'm going to put this viewing as an "only film my friend owned" movie. It was bad...ridiculously bad eveything about it screamed poor quality. Yet it managed to be entertaining due to its copious amounts of stupidity. Please don't waste your time with this movie.

Gidget (jp) wrote: I can see why it was compared to Casablanca, it seems like some of the lines were taken and change slightly or re-arranged to fit this movie. So yes, it did remind me a little bit of Casablanca just set in Cuba.

Andrew L (de) wrote: Good movie. Gets kind of boring though, there are some pretty pointless parts. A great ending though. And it holds a fucking world record for plot twists.

Jimbo S (it) wrote: Unusual in that it is a western with a female lead. The strength and vulnerability of Pearl makes the character fascinating, allied to the great male supporting cast. The title is hugely misleading. Worth a view.

Damon N (nl) wrote: this is supposed to be a classic, I just don't see it, sorry.

Francisco S (es) wrote: Original for this genre with a good cast, but with a boring story that make us turn off the TV

Alex S (us) wrote: This film is incredibly clichd, is incredibly dialogue heavy, and at points makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Despite all this, its over-the-top action and plot pushes White House Down into becoming an incredibly fun movie to watch. The best part is that it doesn't take itself too seriously.
