Dinesh P (jp) wrote: a indie film which is a thriller. Even though u could predict it half way. But still not a bad movie. Only thing I did not understand when the heroine kills the drug peddler how did he turn up alive for the climax. It looks contrived.

Lina A (au) wrote: ok ..Gena Rowlands is one of the most talented actresses of all time to me...she can just shine in each and every scene but i really have some problems with this film specially her scenes with her so called imaginary 17 years old girl which represents her youth , her fan , her past and her struggle with her age and the problem is these scenes are so DIRECT which leaves nothing for us 2 imagine or even think what exactly is the problem.on the other hand , i surely admit that there are some GREAT scenes and dialogues specially the final sequence starting from her coming drunk to the stage till she turned the whole confrontation scene with her lover to be more funny and commercial so now we can see that she is an ACTRESS after all .

Carlos M (it) wrote: Cronenberg's first film should only please fans of his work, since it borders on pretentious (it is even hard to know weather it is meant to be taken serious or not) with poorly-edited, seemingly random images accompanied by a voice-over that is pure tedious psychobabble.

Craig C (de) wrote: Bogie and Bacall fall in love in a Hemingway novel directed by Howard Hawks while Hoagy Carmichael tickles the ivories and a young Walter Brennen stumbles around drunk. A national treasure.

Grayson D (nl) wrote: I have been a Mae West since i first saw one of her films (i was five) and in this with Cary Grant it couldn't go wrong. Probably her best.

Randy P (ag) wrote: It's okay. Somewhat entertaining.
