(kr) wrote: This made for television action film is just what you would expect - an unconvincing plot, not terribly thrilling and wooden acting by the has-been acting stars Antionio Sabato Jr and Michael Pare.

(it) wrote: Bland and forgettable. While Fox still has his ever present charm, the movie seemed far too predictable for my taste and the whole "Jackass becomes good" plot has gotten old...
(br) wrote: Basically a 50's style Biker story with early 80's (think Meatloaf up to Pat Benatar) soundtrack and musical scenes. One of the few things from the 80's that today seems better than I remembered it being it has good cast and is pretty convincing for its era.

What's even more remarkable is that it was made DURING World War II (kind of like "The Great Dictator" and almost as great as that movie). The film very deftly mixes comedy and actual suspense to create a really fun, hilarious rollicking film but amazingly without trivializing the seriousness and gravity of its subject matter. This film is absolutely terrific.
(mx) wrote: Very entertaining. I really enjoyed it granted I wasn't a fan of the ending but honestly it was really good.
(kr) wrote: Just like how, "a boy's best friend is his mother," a critic or film enthusiast's favorite Hollywood hotshot is Alfred Hitchcock. The Master of Suspense is a title he earned and Psycho is his Mona Lisa, Statue of David, Starry Night, etc.
