Sergio R (de) wrote: I can't believe I wasted yet another hour and a half of my life with a terrible direct-to-DVD movie.

Ken T (ca) wrote: Okay...They really should have stopped at the first one. This one was so bad it didn't even make it to the big screen. It ended up being a rather bad "B" flick on the sci fi channel"

Kim M (us) wrote: A nicely done, grown up twist on the slasher in the woods formula, involving a group of co-workers on a team-building retreat in the mountains. In place of sexual escapades, the opening concentrates on building a connection with the audience and the "average Joe" characters as well as humorous interactions between them. It nonetheless remains very true to the genre, achieving the feel of paying homage to rather than ripping off its forerunners. Aging fans of the golden age of slashers will appreciate the familiar setups which suddenly twist to a surprising, often funny outcome when the intended victims react as adults would. The humor in general has been compared by critics, for obvious reason to television's The Office.

And several days later! The concept is unique, creative, and ironic. A RAT that is a gourmet chef, who also "steers" his human friend to cook by pulling on his hair. Yeah! Giddyup, Human! There is definitely some weirdness in this animated story. From the chef ghost in the cookbook to a kitchen full of cooking rats, but we liked it!

Brandon M (nl) wrote: Absolutely loved it! Killed. I like weird independent & subtitled films that's why Sundance & IFC late at night used to be my favorite activity. I love this movie with all my heart.

Scott A (ca) wrote: This movie was awful. It is badly paced, has some of the worst ensemble bad acting ever and as others have stated, nothing really gets moving into less than ten minutes before it ends. Before that we only see flickers of any werewolves, and what we do see looks awful. They even rip off the original by having the husband start cheating with a sexy wolf. There are some good effects stuff in the end, like the melting body bit...which made little sense, but I guess it looked cool. The very ending made little sense too since fire doesn't kill werewolves.Cheesy 80's soundtrack as well.

anthony b (us) wrote: Welcome to the Monster Club! Well I can never have a bad word to say about Vincent Price, here he is in top form as usual. It's an anthology flick which is both extremely camp and also quite creepy!

Mark C (br) wrote: This was a great film to watch, which although more than 30 years old has staggering battle scenes which put many of todays historical epics to shame. The fact that this film was accomplished without any of the modern cgi or digital effects you see today only lends to its authentic feel. The director used 20000 Russian soldiers in this film to use in the battle scenes. The cast all play their parts wonderfully especially Rod Steiger as Napoleon and Christopher Plummer as Wellington. The film is truely epic with the scene involving a thundering (the shot of which attempts to recreate a famous painting) cavalry charge which is really incredible and has to be seen to be believed. The first half of the film deals with the build up the battle and gives some historical background concerning Napoleon's exile from Europe and his subsequent return, with the second half concentrating wholly on the battle without any uneccessary sub plots. When this film was released it failed to do well at the box office which in part resulted in the shelving of Kubrick's planned film about Napoleon. Overall this is a graet film well worth watching.

Andrew S (gb) wrote: Doug Bradley is out and with him any creativity or originality this film could have had left with him. Poorly acted, poorly written, and just plain awful. Two pinheads? It's not enough that Bradley's replacement looks like an overweight Mexican in makeup but now instead of making a unique original cenobite we get another pinhead and chattertooth. Avoid this 9th installment at all costs and just wait for the remake/reboot if your as big a fan as i am.
