Yes, being a Hindi movie it has its share of tears and bloodshed, but primarily its a comedy. SRK plays multiple roles - and is adorable in all of them. Kinda racy at times but not intolerable. Some good songs.

Switchblade Sisters is probably one of the best girl gang movies out there & I love it every time I watch it. Very happy that Tarantino gave this movie a 2nd life some 20 years after it's initial release. To be quite truthful Jack Hill should be more revered in the annals of film making right behind Roger Corman. Even though many consider Drive-In flix fodder more then anything else Hill almost always breaks that mold w/ strong characters & sharp writing but always staying true to the genre. These girls are badass w/out being stereotypical. Violence can be empowering if taken w/ the right subtext

Nothing new under the sun. You can watch Willie Dynamite and see where all their bullshit swagger came from. Crappy flick. Superfly, The Mack, and Black Caesar did the story, its look, and its theme much better. This is the cartoon comic book version of the same. I gave it 2.5 stars instead of 1.5 simply becuase it's a good object lesson on how shining up the same old crap (check most of the hip-hop played on commercial radio) is still crap, and that much less original to boot.
(de) wrote: It sets up a few conflicts that never got fully explored or resolved. Never knew what was going to happen (in a bad way) but you forget Alec Guiness is not scottish. Nice to view but easily forgettable
