Isadore H (de) wrote: Another found footage movie? Ugh!! End of Watch is a great crime thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Micheal Pea. Both put on fantastic performances as two buddy cops in an unnamed city that sort of is what like Dallas, Texas is what I imagined if it had a lot more gangbangers. Some 'found footage' technique is used here, but there also is some work done with an auctual film crew. The movie is great, it got me hooked on I the two relatable and well developed characters and the ending was just simply incredible. There is a lot of disturbing imagery and the film gets very dark and gritty the more you watch it. I really was shocked at some of the scenarios the two main characters were placed in.Please watch it if you have the chance

Andruw F (jp) wrote: It barely gets fresh because of the sci-fi aspect, Denzel Washington, and the villain, but I won't spoil who the actor is. That actor gives a great performance, but unfortunately is underused, and not very well written. And the fact that it's a little over 2 hours, and it didn't feel like it. Yes, it did feel long, but not that long. I didn't like the romance aspect. It was cheesy and unoriginal. But, I guess it was semi believable because when working a murder case, you could become attached. Val Kilmer and the rest of his team were all underused, as well as Bruce Greenwood. But it's nice to see them! Director Tony Scott did a poor and messy job, but thanks to the good enough writing, and almost perfect performances, it's not bad. I think this would be a perfect one to catch on TV or for free streaming somewhere.

Jennifer H (gb) wrote: This is a personal favorite of mine; a lovely bit of nostalgia from the VHS horror boom of my youth. And it features the eternal Donald Pleasance, a man who could get me to watch an hour of toothpaste commercials. A long-lost treat for us slasher kids who long for the days of trolling the video store shelves for clamshell-boxed treasures.

Matthew O (it) wrote: A great movie about the bond that exists between brothers.

John T (ag) wrote: Family drama. It was good to see Robin Williams one last time, but that's about all i really liked of this one.

Zachary M (ca) wrote: The prototypical horror comedy from the 80's. I don't think a film has given such an iconic quite creature in Gizmo, but also a few genuine scares too. Over the years it has grown into a beloved piece of pop culture, and I believe for what it is, it is much deserved.

Aaron W (de) wrote: It didn't feel like 2.5hrs. This one had some mystery about it.

Robert I (it) wrote: I once said Kerr Smith would be the next action hero. This movie killed ALL chances of that happening. I still sad. Me mad.
