Matt G (jp) wrote: Even for a franchise not chiefly known for its brains, Election Year is especially dumb. And after being surprised by the timely & entertaining Anarchy, that was especially disappointing. The acting has taken dive from its already low bar & the interesting dementia comes WAY too late (church segment). Worst yet, of all the Purge films, it struggles the most with its genre (Horror? Nah. Action? Kinda. Drama? I guess...). DeMonaco may wanna purge this series while the good days of Anarchy are still fresh.

Leon B (es) wrote: Although I am not really a big fan of movies about history, but this movie sort of spoke to me in a way that it would be a thriller I would like. It turned out it did turn out a movie that I would like. The other reason why I watched was because it had Johnny Depp starring in the lead role as Frederick Abberline. I thought he played the character well and filled in the gaps and gave the movie a good reason to see it. Definitely a thumbs up.
Ziv E (nl) wrote: Sure, it has good visuals, but Rock A Doodle shows why Disney didn't make a movie based on Chanticleer with generic and sometimes hate able characters, a story that puts the focus in the wrong area and AWFUL voice acting. What is even worse is that THIS ATROCITY is the first don Bluth film I've seen!I couid've watched The Secret Of NHIM, The Land Before Time,An American Tail, Anastasia, most critics say these are great! But instead of being treated intelligently, i get this pile of schlock. Now, excuse me.I oughta cook some KFC.It's already 6:43 in the evening and a person should have his dinner around that time, Y'know.Story:3|10Visuals:8|10Characters:2|10Overall:4.1|10.

It bounces back and forth in time which jumbles the flow of the movie. Some parts were so over the top that I just could help but laugh out loud. The acting is sub par but it makes up for it in laughs. This is worth a watch on an 80's throwback horror night.

Bradley P (ag) wrote: Branded to Kill is stylish and sophisticated, putting in above many other crime/hit-man stories. The cinematography and Mise en scne make it one of the most dream like films, especially for the genre. Suzuki's film demands repeat viewings and is a truly unique film.
William W (fr) wrote: Another winner, this fifth film in the classic comedy detective series, this time with a new director at the helm in Richard Thorpe. It's good that they chose a different angle, in having Nick the prodigal son returning to his hometown and visiting his parents. The ending is quite touching.
Eric H (ca) wrote: "Dave" is a comedy/drama that says "What if our president was an actual person." It delivers a great picture, with superb acting on all sides. Although you'll not find yourself laughing your head off, your sure to find a smile on your face. It's one of those films that you don't want to end, which proves how good it really is.
