Barnaby G (kr) wrote: Interesting but..... ouch. I immediately didn't trust that guy with his high waistband and dodgy computer graphics. Politically dubious. Watch Zeitgeist instead. This is just a rehash of old conspiracy theories tied into a new age philosophy which doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Jim F (au) wrote: This is my idea of comedy. Absolutely ridiculous for 90minutes of good stupid comedy. I just love the stupidity and Macgruber's constant sex references and obvious closet gay stuff. "U can suck my dick, i'll suck your dick, i'll let you fuck me in my ass. You can watch me fuck something, i'll fuck anything you want, what do you want me to fuck?" lol lol

Jim G (ru) wrote: The action movie Game of Death (2010, Wesley Snipes, 40% rating) is a solid action movie but not remarkable. The plot involves a double cross with Snipes in the middle. A very predictable light-weight plot with few surprises. If you have nothing else to watch and you desire action, this is OK.

JD C (gb) wrote: Excellent little crime thriller/mystery. An unknown hidden gem. Engaging performances, a tight solid script, and superb directing. For being shot on a shoestring budget this film certainly hits home. Forget "The Good Son" or "Joshua". Skeletons in the Closet crushes those films! "Treat Williams plays the father, raising his teenaged son (Jonathan Jackson) on the New Hampshire coast. The son is rebellious, like any teenager but almost dangerously so. Prone to keeping to himself and lashing out in a violent manner, when unsolved murders begin to turn up, Dad begins to suspect that his son may be involved." Don't expect any gore or any extreme violence. This film isn't about all of that. It focuses more on building suspenseful tension through the studies of creepy character development. It moves at a very slow pace but never falls flat, thanks to some wonderful acting and intriguing dialogue. This is the kind of film that will have you guessing till the very end. I highly recommend this movie.

Andrew L (jp) wrote: Better than the book I believe. I'd go as far as to say even better than the 'Watership Down' film. Very gritty, and very real storytelling in pace and development. Sad ending, but it works that way.

Gilles Antoine D (ru) wrote: One of those films that are imperfect, but so charming at the same time. The greatest achievement of FFCoppola is the way all the emotions, the drama, the character developpement, everything is communicated in the form, and thats why the story had to be simple as it is.Not for everybody, but you must try it.

Brandon W (kr) wrote: Unfortunately, I simply do not have the time to watch every single James Bond film in order before Spectre comes out. It's just not possible. So instead, I'm picking a select few. First up was "Live and Let Die". Let me say right off the bat that this has a kick-ass song by Paul McCartney and Wings and yes I do realize how racist this movie looks now. But this is an entertaining movie. Roger Moore plays a great James Bond. He certainly looked the part in his earlier bond films and he has that perfect mix of sauve and bad-ass. Jane Seymour is also one of the best bond girls ever. Not just because of her looks, but because she's a psychic. The voodoo aspect is also a strange yet creepy force James Bond to go up against. This bond film takes a bit of a departure from the classic formula of spies vs. spies but it still has all the action and James Bond tropes to make this film a fun time!

Robert B (ca) wrote: Satyricon is an adventure and a phantasmagoria unlike any other film (Jodorowsky's El Topo is the closest that comes to mind). The lead actor and co-star bring a (decidedly Italian) youthful vitality and intensity that helps counterbalance the decadence and decay in this portrayal of Rome as a circus that never leaves town. Definitely a view for those wanting a film with some guts to go for it on a grand scale.

Madeline C (au) wrote: A great, not so well know musical!

Andy C (es) wrote: It's not bad, it's just not up my alley. I felt like I knew what was coming long before it happened, and didn't care to watch it pan out (but I watched anyway, and was correct in all my assumptions, and thus somewhat disappointed.)

Riff J (au) wrote: A phenomenal movie with incredible action scenes, as well as moments that tug on the strings of our hearts. Brad Pitt does great in the lead role... a welcome change for 2004. This movie will have even more impact for those that don't know the backstory.I would be more inclined to believe the 73% of audience that liked it vs the subpar 54% approval rating given by the "critics".
