The problems are interesting and realistic, but the only problem is, they didn't process the Michael-Nick-Robert complicated relationship well, it dwells on useless shots

The premise of not being able to trust ANY cops is absolutely horrifying, and the filmmakers don't do enough with it. Not nearly as racy as the director's previous film, Maniac, but there are a few instances of brilliance (like a terrified woman shooting an innocent cop) that I hoped would be the film's direction. Having B-movie legends like Tom Atkins and Bruce Campbell should've made this far more entertaining, but it becomes very routine after thirty minutes and you're just waiting for the end. Doesn't push the envelope as much as it could with it's surprisingly terrifying premise, and winds up being a rather dull 80s slasher

lovely short movie (under 1h20) full of Agatha Christie's goodness. Rutherford is the incarnation of Miss Marple, Tingwell makes quite a sympathetic inspector and I still love Robert Morley

With Shemp as the blind sharp shooter & Joe Besser as the complaining assistant (they both made Lou look like a genius lol. Its strange to see how they thought of animals back in the 50's compared to today tho. Lou as the lion tamer is a classic. I loved this A&C as a kid

This perspective works, though, because the film is first and foremost about faith in the face of horror. Heart-wrenching and strongly acted film (especially by Hurt) about the Rwandan genocide told mainly from the perspective of two white workers at a school

Overall, despite its inconsistencies, it is pleasant and cute enough to deserve a watch. It was interesting enough on its own (albeit a little confusing) but it was stylistically miles apart from what every other story was doing. The one in the hotel with Shia LaBeouf, John Hurt, and Julie Christie was the one that stood out like a sore thumb. I particularly liked the one of the guy bringing a girl to the park (which was written and directed by Natalie Portman, so good for her) the couple taking a walk on their anniversary (I cried), and the boy in the park segment with Anton Yelchin. That being said, I did like the majority of the individual stories. So, what I really wanted was consistency. Then they tried to tie everything in together at the end, but it didn't quite work. Some vignettes stood totally alone, and you never saw the characters again, and others weaved in and out of each other. The problem here is that they tried to do a mixture of both. Valentine's Day) or you can have a series of shorts, one after the other, and the movie be a compilation of the shorts. Have a the storylines continuously filter and intersect one another (ex. There are two ways you can go. My problem is the structure of the movie itself. The individual storylines are interesting, and I enjoy the impressive ensemble of actors. And it was pretty decent. So, I actually was planning on watching Paris, je t'aime last night, but then I realized I left my copy of it at school, so I went with this one instead
