Melissa H (us) wrote: Really fun movie that pokes fun at itself. Shah Rukh Khan was perfect for this role, corny, hammy, and serious near the end. Fabulous production numbers, 70s craziness, and an AWESOME ending. Can't tell you more so I don't ruin it. See this when you're in the mood for some serious entertainment.
Benjamin H (es) wrote: When you watch a Christian movie, unfortunately, you go into it knowing that it is going to be lacking... production, acting, music, and sometimes even a plot. Six: the Mark Unleashed was a breath of fresh air. The story takes place in the "end times" under the rule of the world leader who is forcing everyone to bear his mark or face death. Those who take his mark are brainwashed and controlled by an implant that accompanies it (this is by no means a new idea). Brody Sutton and Jerry Willis are two criminals who have refused to take the mark for their own reasons. While imprisoned (they have three weeks to decide between the mark or a guillotine) they meet Luke (Stephan Baldwin), a modern day prophet. Baldwin's role is short but very well played. He is not his usual cocky self. They also meet Tom (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is planted in the prison to infiltrate the Christians, find their leader and kill him. The witty banter between Brody and Jerry carries the movie. Morgan provides the best acting. Overall, the movie is pretty well produced. Some of the acting is cheesy, particularly when it comes to action. The music could have used a little help, but it wasn't distracting. In the Christian movie world, it was an A+ all the way...My real rating: B+

Jeff B (es) wrote: Good, but also a bit weird with how it ends. Bette Davis is terrific in her portrayal of a spinster controlled by her mother who finally finds something to inspire her to break free of that oppression.
Dan W (es) wrote: Loved it! Great haunted house flick without the profanity etc.
