Duncan P (br) wrote: Naturally as a fan of the show, I can't really objectively assess this, but then, on the other hand, I wouldn't be watching this were I not.Manages to successfully meld the quintessential essence of "Friendship is Magic" (yes, that includes some of the friendship-moral cheesiness) with a touch of the attitude of "Glee" towards high school, ultimately providing a sort-of hyper-positive interpretation of a typically American high schooling experience, with a number of typically catchy songs one gets from Ingram (especially the song commonly known as the 'cafeteria song' - I believe the actual title thereof is "Equestria Girls")Highly enjoyable and, in my humble opinion, a worthy addition to the canon, having successfully made a Pony movie in a new, semi-familiar setting. Also, plenty of fanservice in there for your hardcore bronies - cameos, in-jokes, and a few slightly more anime-fanservice-inspired prods too.

William T (mx) wrote: David Hasselhoff sells it as Nick Fury in this incredibly campy made for TV movie. The villains (especially the female head of HYDRA) overact the parts and the German accents are so bad that I almost cried from laughing. Don't go into this expecting anything other than a campy 1998 made for TV movie starring the Hoff and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Tony P (ca) wrote: The late great Charles Bronson returns (albeit aged 65) in yet another Death Wish sequel.Wherever his humble character from these films, Paul Kersey goes there is death.Bronson seemed to release several 'vigilante/revenge' pictures at this stage of his career aided by a willing studio, Cannon. The Cannon Group as they were in the 1980s released a glut of low to medium budget range action pictures that are just glorified TV films that often went straight to (VHS) video! You have to feel some sympathy for the Kersey character. All his loved ones seem to be raped or murdered. The effects of crack cocaine is the central theme of this episode. I say episode because some scenes play out like an episode of The A-Team.Bronson then must have been the oldest actioner around. Very Harrison Ford age range now. Or Liam Neeson in the Taken franchise which seems to be going the same way as the Death Wish franchise. The director is not Michael Winner but some other geezer.A definate film to fill in 90 minutes when you have the TV remote to yourself.
