Al S (au) wrote: A formulaic military action film with some good performances from selected member's of the cast but is an unnecessary sequel or spin off to the darkly funny physiological drama nine years ago. It probably would of been excepted better if they had cut out the title Jarhead 2 and just kept Field of Fire, but even then theirs moments of absurdity that you cant except and feel that it runs short. Or more so just another film that reminds you of something you have seen before

Burroughs This film that is not a film, just wants you to slow down and think a little. While your using that slippery noodle, what does THX 1138, THE MATRIX and THIS IS NOT A MOVIE have in common? If you gave up, you need to read a book or something. Go ahead, break the rules. Gandi, Lennon, Malcome X, "Che", JFK, Lincoln, they all thought differnt and got killed for it. Bang, bang. So next time if you want to think differnt, think again.

Paul D (ru) wrote: This has got to be one of the worse I've ever seen. So bad but is somehow beyond 'so bad it's good,' probably because it takes it's ridiculous plot-line too seriously, as if it was actually going to be able to scare a few people. It tries to make technology scary but only shows off how dated it is by all of the old technology and terrible 'virtual reality' effects (and by the babysitter turning on 'In Living Color' and rocking out to the hip music). The movie is so stupid. A dog drowns itself in a pool after a VCR spits a tape out onto its face which I guess convinces it to, a man survives a crash test dummy collision into a wall only to be killed by a fucking hand dryer, a dishwasher causes someone to be electrocuted to death. The kills could not be worse, and good kills are pretty much the only thing you can hope for in a really bad horror movie. I've got to be honest, this one was hard for me to finish. It made Maximum Overdrive look like a masterpiece of the machines gone wild genre. Between this and Freddy's Dead, anyone would be a fool to hire Rachel Talalay as a director again.
