You will hate Lester (Kevin Spacey) but you will love him too because he is just a normal human being. Ricky (Wes Bently) was a memorable character too. These two were my favorites. This movie took me through a whirlwind of emotions....hate, despair, sympathy, etc

The storyline for this picture is very interesting though a bit spastic at times. The dialogue was good as was the acting. The cast includes Paul Newman, Lauren Bacall, Janet Leigh, Robert Wagner, Shelley Winters, and Julie Harris."Can you believe something as rancid as her was once a baby?"I came across this on Movies! and had to DVR it. This was entertaining and fun to watch unfold. I thought some scenes were clumsy and annoying, but Newman is always fun to watch in these types of roles (similar to The Sting). Newman has just had some better films in this genre which is why I couldn't recommend this over The Sting or Cincinnati Kid. "Gemini are cold hearted."Grade: B-
Richie W (es) wrote: First of all, this is not the greatest title to give to a movie that is based on a true story and is more concerned with the situation of children in south sudan than with machine guns (though one gets to see a fair share of them over the course of the movie). second, although an attempt is made to shine a light on sam childers (gerard butler), one can never quite identify with him. the whole story remains rather superficial, which is unfortunate - it seems there would have been more to say here
