Tony L (it) wrote: A solid effort that is well acted, visually stunning and engaging, the pace and character development however, do leave much to be desired.

Angelo M (es) wrote: Tatou credibile. Il film finisce dove inizia la sua fama, interessante.

Matthew P (ru) wrote: It is always unfortunate when a story lets down a movie's cinematography. In the case of Swedish movie Metropia, the stunning animation and completely out there idea is let down by the overall execution of the narrative. For such a unique story i was often bored and more often distracted by sub standard dialogue. More than a little disappointing.

Jake P (br) wrote: I was baffled & amused by it's overt pretensions.

Lisa (ru) wrote: I like Roy Scheider another guy stands out Richard Lynch (Moon) I remember seeing him on tv many years ago and my Dad saying that he always plays the bad guy In 1967 after taking LSD (acid), he set himself on fire in Central Park behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art near Cleopatra's Needle. After recuperation, he bravely and candidly spoke about it in an anti-drug documentary.

Niloo R (kr) wrote: a classic experimental film, and probably the best in it's genre. in terms of evoking emotion in me as a viewer though, it doesn't go very far, what with the absence of substantial narrative and all. to be fair though, there are some creepy moments that send chills down my spine, as well as some pretty hilarious ones (unintentionally so, probably). what fascinates me most about this film is that it actually was made in the 1920s and it definitely does feel like opening a time capsule or stepping into the past.

Lee H (it) wrote: Good idea and brilliant effects for such a low budget film ruined by rubbish characters, bad acting and potentially great set pieces completely botched up!

Heather M (gb) wrote: Well, this could have been better.
