Mike L (au) wrote: Your typical, low budget, cliche horror filled with bad actors and cheap scares. But the Albino Farm characters were pretty gruesome and entertaining. Good for a cheesy horror fan as long as you're not expecting too much. Still better than MOST 'B' movies, for sure...people being sewn together was a really nice touch, too.

James H (kr) wrote: Rather obvious thriller, predictable and a bit extreme. The cast is decent to good. Story is not very likely and unconvincing. Fair.

Steve W (it) wrote: I thought Small Time Crooks was very interesting. It starts out rather madcap, with bungling inept criminals with a cookie shop as a front. They want to tunnel and rob a bank, but the movie keeps things different and constantly turns the plot into other directions. Elaine May is definitely the scene stealer, as are Michael Rapaport and Jon Lovitz. Despite it being a bit different than you'd think it would be, its still an enjoyable comedy caper.

Sure, it's slick and polished and the performers give solid performances, but the fact that all of this craft is at the service of such an irresponsible project makes it that much worse to me.
