Michael S (ag) wrote: Beyond horrible drama about a serial killer with all the telltale signs of straight-to-video dumps: a few notable actors, some bad acting (looking at you, Christian Slater), and downright putrid writing. I award this no points; may God have mercy on its soul.

Robin H (ag) wrote: Fantastic cinematography.

Vronique B (fr) wrote: Une charmante comdie de Franois Ozon. Deneuve est parfaite !

Fahad A (br) wrote: Can anyone do the same for his kid? In real life? Anyway, the movie is good and the acting is very convincing. The information at the end of the movie is very shocking.

Milan S (mx) wrote: Marvellous. Totaly unexpected quality. An amazing experinece, it makes you wonder...

Dais I (us) wrote: The storyline was poorly delivered, but i love West Coast Swing.Step..Step..Triple Step...Triple Step.

Arianna B (fr) wrote: This is a quite cute movie, with some funny moment and some reflective one. Unfortunately, the dialogues are quite trivial and the acting quality doesn't always shine through the movie. The plot and the story is nice and ironic, even though there are some absurdities that make it less realistic. Anyway, a classical romantic comedy with an obvious "feel-good" goal.

Yash B (fr) wrote: Not terrible at all. It's a good movie for families but not for someone who is expecting greatness. I think it's fine for its own purpose.

Andrew G (ag) wrote: Aggressively awful in every sense of the word.

Thomas M (au) wrote: This is not quite what I was expecting. I was expecting lots of groupie sex and lots of drug taking. What I got instead was Mick Jagger masturbating and Bill Wyman on an acid trip on the Dick Cavett show. Still it has some rather worthwhile scenes in it. Like Keith Richard for no reason at all throwing a tv out a hotel window. Or Mick Jagger taking a road trip of America and getting lost and then getting bored and annoyed. Some of the random shit that pops up in this film is interesting. if only to show what it is really like to be behind the scenes of a big time rock band in the early 70's. Robert Frank, the director, was a great photogapher and his book of photos called "The Americans" was a interesting book. He also did a bang up job on the album cover "Exile on Main Street" but an interesting director he turned out not to be. Still it feels risky watching this movie when you know The Rolling Stones have done everything in their power to stop this film from being seen anywhere.

Rui M (ag) wrote: Great Spaghetti Western with Franco Nero, Tomas Milian and Jack Palance giving memorable performances.

FilmGrinder S (br) wrote: 66% Has a stylishly cold atmoshpere that was not commonly seen in the 60's. Question: What was with the SS lightning bolts?

Jorge Mauricio M (fr) wrote: It is an excellent film, in which you can see the appreciation that the director has for the Sevillian culture, and a good cast. Also, it is advisable to listen to your soundtrack. She is very pretty and even dreamy.

Martin T (ru) wrote: The production design and camerawork are dynamite, lots of clever visual motifs. And Marlene Dietrich is great for the second half of the movie. She doesn't pull off naive and innocent well at all (I think it's the husky voice that ruins it) but as she gets more and more conniving, the role suits her better. I guess my biggest problem with the film is that I kind of didn't care much about what was going on. I enjoyed the spectacle and the off-kilter weirdness of it, but I wasn't invested at all.

Mindy S (br) wrote: This illustrates 1986 for me. Cried when I saw it in the theatre. Saw it again at 45 and thought "damn, was I naive!"

Eugene S (fr) wrote: A crazy B-movie that twists the history of the time quite interestingly, but brings it all together at the end. The movie had about every historical character of the time (including a very young Teddy Roosevelt) killing zombies. Not great but worth the 1.5hrs if you're bored.
